There was food, funfair treats (popcorn, cotton candy, carmel apples, crepes, hotdogs, candy), games for every ages, a face painting station, music, professional lighting and decor, movies for the kids and the best people to hang out with.
The boys were absolutely adorable with their bow ties. Look at these two little studs :
I reconnected with many of my old friends and it felt great being around them in familiar places filled with memories.
I reserved a hotel to spend the night so we wouldn’t have to drive the two hours back home late into the night. It was the best idea. The kids loved sleeping in that cheap hotel even more than the party. (I myself much prefered the party!)

We went home after a late breakfast and found Grand-Papa and Grand-Maman enjoying their first day of peace (let’s be honest) after the craziness of the holidays. It didn’t last long after we’d arrived, the weather was beautiful and it felt like the perfect time for a snow outing... so we all took off for Freydière.
Now if we could get a little bit more snow...
