First of many visits to Versaille

On April 21st, after visiting Paris the day before, we head out to visit the beautiful city of Versaille, where Grand-papa and Grand-maman will be living for the next three years.

Although Grand-papa and Grand-maman had a busy day ahead, they took the time to accompany us for a short walk in the famous "Jardins du chateau" (the Palace's garden).

Josh wasn't too excited to be walking again!

On the way back from our walk we took pictures by the front entrance of the temple. The open house was scheduled to start the next day.

In the afternoon, the boys and I walked again to the Palace, this time accessing it from the front.

Needless to say, it is magnificent. This Louis guy may have been an over-the-top self-absorbed king, but he knew how to make people build beautiful things.

Hurray for really old kings building really old things!

After taking two gazillion pictures of the same place, we decided we were satisfied with our day. We filled up at a bistrot nearby and went back home to relax in front of a movie.
Classy boys sitting at the king's table ;p
