Prowess in the pool (May-July 2015)

We started using the pool early in May. It was a pretty amazing spring. William decided he wanted to learn how to swim. And when William decides he’s going to do something, it’s as good as done.

Here’s one of the first videos of this determined little man teaching himself how to swim:

Josh learned to swim two summers ago with his Dad just before we moved here. He’s been having lots of fun in Grand-Papa and Grand-Maman’s pool. Now his favorite thing is to jump and do stunts. Luckily we have a nice neighbor, who is untiring at these kinds of games. His son is in William’s class and they have come over to play in the pool after school a few times.

 As usual when William starts something, it isn’t long before he blows your socks off, especially if he is trying to impress his big brother. So... one month after learning to swim, he was already following in his brother’s foot steps and doing crazy stunts and jumps.

Both boys love water so much.  It is a huge relief for me to know that now both of them are safe in water.
