More athletic achievements

This year Joshua qualified to be in a pre-competition swim team but he decided he wanted to play soccer instead. I was a little disappointed because swimming is my sport of choice and I thought he'd be so good at it but since a few other friends were playing soccer and his brother was interested too, I caved in.

They sure looked good and proud in their team colors. Go Saint-Martin-d'Uriage !

Also Joshua started his second year of karate, and continued to do really well. He earned his yellow belt in January and his half yellow/orange belt in June.

His karate senseis are excellent trainers. They are very demanding but also passionate and encouraging. Josh does really well with them.
In June, after passing the stances test

Also in June, the boys attended the annual school courseton. William confirmed his reputation as "rocketman" (he finished easily one lap ahead of his classmates and wasn't even tired!), Josh was a little disappointed because he "only" arrived third or fourth instead of first this year!

In June, Jade told us about a fun activity hosted by the sports association where she did an internship. There was a wheelchair soccer game that day and people were invited to try out the equipment and watch the game. It was really cool.

When they are not at an actual practice, they're outside doing stunts and having fun at the field near the house.

Or on the couch...
Boy do I wish I had that level of energy...
