One Friday afternoon in August we decided to meet Emily, Don and Sam in Chamony for a night at a campsite Emily had seen advertized in a travel magazine as one of the best in Europe. It was seriously magnificent. It was also the boys' first camping experience in France and their first time camping in a looong time : a night in Taconaz at the feet of the Mont Blanc, no less.
To make things even better, Coco and Nicki joined the party. Even Grand-papa and Grand-maman accompanied us (but they slept in a hotel in Chamonix).

In the morning we got soaked in a rainstorm :
And that's how you create short but unforgettable memories.
On the way home we stopped at a Kebab for lunch. We were wet, dirty and frankly exhausted.
